A Review Of The 2012 Nissan NV

The commercial van market is currently dominated by Ford's Econoline van. Commercial trucks are generally functional vans with an emphasis on practicality over function. However, there's a new van on the market; the Nissan NV. This van has been available in over forty countries with exception of America. That's about to change with the introduction of the Nissan's commercial van. The primary target market is small business owners, delivery services and even food truck companies. There are two types of engines available for the Nissan NV; a six cylinder and a more powerful eight cylinder engine. This will be the first commercial vehicle from Nissan available in the United States.

The van is equipped with a ramp which makes it accessible for handicapped individuals in wheelchairs. Some of the models are available with an adjustable roof. This can come in handy if one needs to haul large cargo along. It's also convenient to shorten the height in case the vehicle needs to be parked in a small garage or fit through a narrow drive way.

Nissan is keeping the NV relatively affordable; the entry level model is expected to be priced around $24k. The frame was designed to be fully boxed for optimum stability and durability. Branding is an important concept for business owners and the Nissan NV allows you to do just that. The car can be "wrapped" with any design and logo of the buyer's choosing.

The middle storage bin offers a large amount of space for personal items such as cellular phones. There is a console available which can be used as a laptop stand. Bluetooth compatibility is available which allows the driver to receive phone calls while keeping hands safely on the wheel. Buyers can choose from vinyl or cloth seats. Features including Bluetooth compatibility and a rearview camera can be added on as options.

A Brief History of Suzuki

This Japanese automobile manufacturer has a rich history reaching back over 100 years. From the small family business, started in the beginning of the 20th century to the international corporation the Suzuki brand is known for today their commitment to providing excellent build quality at an affordable price has remained the same.

Michio Suzuki started a small family company producing looms for the silk industry in Hamamatsu, Japan in 1909. By 1922 the company had grown rapidly due to the superior quality and innovation their products became synonymous for. Suzuki later spotted a niche in the transport market for affordable, reliable transport.

Unfortunately the Second World War delayed the progression of the Suzuki company as preparations for war took president over domestic concerns but the Suzuki company survived and was eventually taken over by Suzuki's son Shunzo Suzuki. His first major contribution to the company was a unique type of motor that could be attached to a bicycle which was able to drive the cycle while pedalling, while freewheeling or be disconnected altogether.

Once patented the Japanese government subsidised his work. The complete motor was manufactured by Suzuki and gave rise to numerous racing victories.

By the mid 1950's the company had been rebranded the Suzuki Motor Co. and was mass producing lightweight motor vehicles. In 1963 the company began exporting their range of lightweight motorcycles to the USA.

2011 Honda Element Review

When it comes to listing the top compact SUVs out there, the 2011 Honda Element will be somewhere at the top of the list. It gets a 9, out of 23 of the finest compact SUVs in the market, and this is after reviewing and analyzing over sixty published reviews regarding the same type of vehicles. The vehicle has gone through a lot of test driving in order to list it as an effective machine in the sports utility sector, and it does stand out. Essentially, the Honda Element epitomizes utility. The majority of reviewers are satisfied in that aspect, and so the buyers can trust that they won't be disappointed if that's what they are looking for in the vehicle.

The vehicle comes in two models both of which offers two wheel drive and of course the 4 wheel drive. The models are the LX and EX.

A decent but edgy type of vehicle to move around with in the city or outside in a rough terrain while maintaining a stable drive is what attracts buyers to this particular SUV. It is durable and a lot of buyers find that most important. So what's to look out for in the small SUV? A LOT of space. In fact, the vehicle boasts a 74.6 cubic feet of cargo space; and with the back seats folding capability, you really have space in there.

Performance

This SUVs performance rating may very much have to do with individuals, preference, because a lot of people like its sturdy and noisy ride, while some don't. But other than that, the easy navigation and plenty of room inside make it worthwhile.

Exterior

The exterior is a winner for the 2011 Honda Element; in fact a lot of recent models of SUVs have copied the Element's type of exterior when it hit the market back in 03, so the 2011 is still a winner in that aspect.

Honda Accord - Luxury For The Common Man

Honda Accord has held Honda's head high ever since it was first launched in 1976. The first model of the Accord was a hatchback which enjoyed a five-year life till it was discontinued in 1981 when Honda launched the Accord as a sedan and as a coupe. As of now, this luxury car is in its Eighth Generation and has become the flagship Honda sedan in many countries including India. The present generation of the vehicle is by far the biggest in terms of size and footprint, thanks to the constantly increasing demands for a bigger car from the States and from the Asian markets. Still, the current Accord finds itself just at the lower limit of being a Full Size Car according to the U.S Environmental Protection Agency.

Honda Accord is by far rated as one of the World's most reliable cars and enjoys a very consumer appreciated history. It has also been awarded as the best luxury sedan by various publications in India. The premium sedan was in its Sixth Generation when it was launched in India, since then the Accord has never seen a bad day. The success of this premium offering in India relies heavily on the its reliability and Honda's superior servicing and excellent reach with dealerships even in remote areas.

The present generation Honda Accord looks the most attractive out of the previous generations. The mass and bulk surrounding the Accord lend an aura of another world to it. This car is feature rich too and matches even the executive German sedans in certain aspects. The rakish headlamp treatment with the bold grill and chrome treatment lend a sense of occasion to the stately sedan. The little bulge of the wheel arches and a very prominent shoulder line provides the solidity to the design. From the rear too, the Honda Accord looks big and as classy as from any other angle.

Mercedes-Benz Classic Cars Past and Present Making the News

The much celebrated German luxury car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has always offered high quality motoring along with expertly engineered technical automotive design. Mercedes-Benz has always been competitive and had an active racing presence over the years, which has helped with the company's car development and design.

This can still be seen today, with Mercedes having a major role in many areas of motorsport around the world, including the high-profile Formula 1 World Championship and the DTM (or Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters - German Touring Car Masters) race championships, as well as world-renowned races like Le Mans.

Ultimately, Mercedes-Benz is always in pursuit of driving and motoring excellence and that's what can be found across their range of cars. Some of these classic Mercedes-Benz cars past and present are never far from the news and it is easy to see why this occurs.

Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing

Recently, an über rare 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing sold at an auction in Arizona for an amazing £2.95 million (or $4,620,000). This was a particularly rare Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing, as it was only one of 29 built with aluminium bodies.

This special, alloy bodied 300 SL Gullwing represented cutting edge technical design at the time of its launch in the early 1950's, as this was a car you could buy in a showroom but was powerful and lightweight compared to its counterparts that were seen on the race track at that time. This was the car that won the Le Mans 24-hour race in 1952.

The Mercedes Benz Mystique

Nothing quite says you've made it like driving a Mercedes Benz. But why? What is it about this kind of car that exudes luxury and status?

For older drivers, there's no denying that Mercedes has a sense of history which adds to the mystique of the brand even today.

Gottlieb Daimler got his start in 1886, when he built a true "horseless carriage." He was considered to be the father of the internal combustion engine. When he died in 1890, he left control of his company to William Maybach, his chief engineer. He also left behind a deal with a Mr. Steinway (the piano guy) to market Daimler vehicles in the United States.

Carl Benz got his start in 1886 as well. He built a motorized tricycle that year, and he followed that up with the first motorized four-wheeled vehicle in 1893 (his Victoria model), and his first production model appeared in 1894 (the Benz Velo). A year later, he was turning out trucks as well.

History tells us that the two inventors never knew each other, but they would eventually become a single company producing one of the world's foremost symbols of automotive luxury. It all started with a girl.

The year Daimler died, his company built a custom vehicle for auto racer Emil Jellinek, who named it after his daughter, Mercedes.

After the First World War, the German economy suffered and the Benz company was looking for a partner to keep operations going. A Benz board member first approached the Daimler company in 1919, and after some false starts, the two companies merged in 1926. They chose their now famous three-pointed star surrounded by a laurel as their product symbol, and adopted the name Mercedes-Benz.
